Contributions to the GPU Users Group Inc. are deductible under section 170 of the same code. Further we are qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 and 2522 of the Code.
Our accounting period ends annually on 31, JAN of each calendar year.
The GPU Users Group donates 100% of donations it receives to recognized scientific entities. The GPUUG will only make contributions of hardware, software or monetary supplements to recognized scientific entities. We are all volunteers and as a result, we volunteer our services on a strictly pro-bono basis. At no point in time will any Director, Officer or interested party of the GPU Users Group receive any form of salary, stipend or similar. Our complete and detailed records of all cash inflows, outflows, current cash balance and so forth will be made available at the end of each fiscal year on this website for public consumption and review at no charge.
The GPUUG may occasionally have to satisfy operational costs such as server time, postage, etc. These will be evaluated on a case by case basis and ideally avoided through focused specific donations to cover these eventualities.
